Want to Cut the Cost of Gasoline? Let the Deportations Begin! PDF Print E-mail

By Oliver W. Hagley
Most of the major problems facing the United States today could be resolved entirely if the federal government would simply:

1. Enforce our borders to prevent the influx of illegal aliens from Mexico, and

2. Forcibly remove illegals already here.

Contrary to what George W. Bush, John McCain, and Barack Obama have been saying, America does not need immigration reform.

Rather, all that is needed is a commitment on the part of elected officials to enforce existing laws, and the resolve to do the will of the American people.

With anywhere from 12-38 million illegal aliens presently in the US, putting even a small percentage of criminals on a fast track back to Mexico would immediately ease the demand for gasoline, causing prices at the pump to stabilize and even drop.

In much the same manner as gasoline, America's heath care system is under tremendous pressure because millions of illegal aliens receive care without paying for services received.

Instead of having 45 million uninsured people to contend with, America's burden could be reduced dramatically just by shipping those who do not belong here back to Mexico.

Another major benefit would be in the area of homeland security: Securing the borders would reduce the threat of another 9/11 attack on American soil. The fact that our borders have not been secured during a time of war is a scandalous indictment of a failed president and complicit Congress on both sides of the aisle.

Illegal aliens cost American taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars each year by accessing education, housing, medical care, and other public services to which they are not entitled. Removing these parasites from our land would make it easier to balance the federal and several state budgets, which continue to be devastated by invaders from south of our border.

Drunk driving and other dangerous crimes are especially prevalent in the illegal alien community. Kicking illegals out, and keeping them out, would make America safer and friendlier for American citizens.

Finally, education in America has deteriorated to the point where many students cannot read their graduation certificates. Dumbing down to accommodate less talented illegal aliens is the culprit here.

It is time for America to awaken: Our heritage, prosperity, and culture are being plundered just for cheap labor and cheap votes.

We must not allow politicians to Mexicanize our great nation into a third world quagmire!
