C.A.P.S. Calls on CA. to Investigate San Francisco’s Protection of Drug Dealers from Prosecution PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 03 July 2008
Santa Barbara, CA. – Californians for Population Stabilization (CAPS) requested Tuesday that Governor Schwarzenegger and the California Attorney General investigate the City of San Francisco over the recent reports that San Francisco juvenile probation officials are protecting Hondurans caught dealing crack cocaine from federal prosecution by flying them out of the country or housing them in San Bernardino County, all at city expense (to view letter, click here). All of Hondurans have since fled the housing and have yet to be re-arrested.
"The allegations that city officials were helping illegal alien drug traffickers evade federal enforcement are being investigated by the U.S. Attorney at this time," said C.A.P.S. President Diana Hull, "We are asking the state of California to investigate possible official corruption.

"It is generally assumed that this activity is the result of the city's sanctuary ordinance," Hull said. "But the involvement of the US attorney points to possible criminal activity; like payoffs from the drug cartels to protect their dealers. Since San Francisco obviously can't investigate itself, we are asking the State of California to begin their own investigation of the Probation Department and Youth Guidance Center complete with assets investigations of all their employees. We are also asking that everyone be run through E-Verify, the DHS electronic employment verification system to identify any illegal aliens working in that San Francisco department."

Hull also asked that the California Department of Justice shut off any law enforcement money destined for San Francisco until the city’s sanctuary ordinance is removed and all city departments are officially informed that they must comply with all federal laws and inform immigration officials about possible violations.

"San Francisco has provided the country with the perfect example of how these sanctuary city ordinances can protect lawbreakers," Hull said. "If warranted, the prosecution of city officials for aiding and abetting these illegal alien drug traffickers will lead to the end of these totally misguided anti-American ordinances."
