Michelle Obama's Misplaced Pride

As to Michelle Obama's recently discovered "pride" in America:
 
Barack Obama is an inexperienced, untried politician who lacks vital knowledge in international affairs, diplomacy, and other matters that a president must deal with.
 
He is a smooth candidate who sounds and looks good, but who says very little of substance.
 
He is an admitted former user of illegal drugs.
 
Except for his image as a quasi-rock star with John F. Kennedy charisma, exactly what in Obama's profile inspires pride?
 
Voting for a man solely because of his skin color  is an affront to our democratic process and a sharp rebuke to the color blind society that Dr. Martin Luther King dreamed of.
 
How can any adult find "pride" in that?
