Every unskilled illegal immigrant who enters the United States for work drives up healthcare costs for every American And every illegal immigrant we turn a blind eye toward weakens the rule of law our country is founded on. Elton Gallegly

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought  or unsought, by the
military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never
let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted.
Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel  the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery
of defense with our peaceful methods and goals.

Dwight D. Eisenhower
XXXIV President

We simply cannot love our neighbors until they are in fact our neighbors again

Carolyn Hileman
I have to wonder what you would do if the next time you ate a salad the tomato, instead of spewing seeds and juice when you bit into it spewed American blood, what if when walking on your newly mowed lawn it suddenly became a cemetery with markers belonging to American citizens killed by those who are only here to mow lawns, perhaps if it was a family member of your own, a mother, sister, brother, husband, wife or God forbid your child, would it matter then? Would you finally stop saying that sending these people home to come back legally is a punitive punishment? Would you be so apt to tell someone who had just lost their only child to an illegal immigrant with a beer and a car, that anyone could have done it? If it was your child, your wife, your husband whom you had to bury simply because our government refused to enforce laws already on the books, how would you feel? Would you feel betrayed by your own country, that put the life of someone who came into our country illegally above the life of your son or daughter and how would you feel to know that the person who killed your child had been in jail just days before but because no one bothered to ask about their immigration status because it might be considered discrimination they were set free to kill your child???

Those of you on your moral high horse who honestly believe that those who want our laws enforced are the criminals, the racists, the hate mongers, would be one too if you only knew of the damage done to the other families in this country, you know the ones who are legally here, the Americans. You spend all of your time talking about how many of our American children are killed in Iraq but could care less about the American children gunned down, knifed, run over and killed here on our city streets. You talk about compassion as if it is a new word you made up describing how we are supposed to treat our guests, only problem is no one invited them unless it was you. Then we have those who are in office who spend all of their time telling us how bad we are that we don’t want illegal immigrants in our workplaces and neighborhoods and of course they can ride that moral high horse because they do not have to worry about any of them moving into their nicely zoned neighborhoods and there certainly won’t be any illegal immigrant children in those nice prep schools they send their kids to.

Ask Obama if he would sponsor one of the illegal immigrants he wants here so badly to live in a house right next to him? Ask Hillary if she and Bill could possibly find a way to put some of them to work in their offices and darling McCain, ask him if would allow them on that straight talk express with him and you will get resounding no’s why because they are too good to be bothered by the troubles of everyday Americans I mean really they plan on being president, living in a house surrounded by a fence with security all over the place, they won’t even have to worry about driving on our city streets since they will be followed by a security car and they will have one in front and don’t forget the bullet proof glass in the car and people wonder why these people seem so out of touch, it is because they are. It is easy to be benevolent when it isn’t your job at risk, it is easy to demand equal housing for illegal immigrants if you know for a fact they will not be living next to you, that an errant bullet during a drive by will never hit your house. It is easy to demand hospitals hire interpreters when you know you will never have to wait eight hours to be seen in one.

I am sick of all of the would be do gooders who live in glass houses trying to clean the splinter from my eye when they have a log in theirs, they want to preach to me how it says in the Bible that we are to welcome the stranger, it does not say that we are to hand them our keys and walk away, no one objects to giving them water or food for their journey as long as that journey includes a round trip back home. We are told to love our neighbors but the only problem is when they are in your home demanding you leave they are no longer our neighbors. They won’t touch the tower of Babylon, you remember were God made them all speak different languages, they will not delve any further into the Bible to prove that we must allow criminal activity, no, they just continue to sing the same song and pretend they are the only ones who have ever heard it. We have all heard it and we have all seen what happens when we do not protect what God has given us, that is right he expects us to take care of what he gives us, he expects us to defend what he has given us, and we simply cannot love our neighbors until they are in fact our neighbors again.
