That is right all they have to do to make sure we walk in lock step and follow their orders is to call us a few names, seems the only real heroes are already in Iraq awaiting money they should get without strings attached, money to buy armor, money to make sure they get paid so they can send their money home, money for food, supplies like bandages, IV’s, fuel you know the little things you need to stay alive only problem they have is unlike other government recipients they have more than earned that money and their very lives depend on it. Perhaps since our government would rather hold up their funding so they can attempt to sneak in an amnesty bill, we should take up a collection. Just how much are you willing to ante up to know for a fact that not one more of our soldiers would die because of lack of real funding for this war, how much are you willing to give to know for sure you will never have to pick up a gun to defend yourself if another country were to invade us? What the gas prices eating you alive, and you cannot spare a penny from your already over strained paycheck. Well now just imagine what that would feel like knowing at any time a sniper could end your life because someone didn’t send you the funds you were promised and you don’t have a vest.

You would think that rational people after 9/11 would have gone about making sure our military had everything it needed and then some, you would think that they would have secured our borders, cracked down on people entering the United States of America, you would think they would pay attention to those who have over stayed their visas, but we are not dealing with rational people now are we, we are dealing with people who live and breathe the utter destruction of anything remotely resembling America and they are sitting in offices in Washington and being paid by you. They have repeatedly told us we are overreacting, that 9/11 was just a blip on the radar screen an event waiting to happen, nothing really we could have done to stop it and that there is really nothing we can do now to stop it, IE: you are on your own. Perhaps if we had illegal immigrants checking the visa overstays we would not have had a 9/11 since I mean really they do the jobs American’s don’t want to do.

What doomed us that day was the belief that we were invincible, that no one could hurt us, we didn’t need secure borders, why bother checking visa overstays, besides what can a few guys do to us? They can strap on bombs make believe or real, they can put box cutters in their pockets, they can board several airplanes, they can kill the pilots and take the passengers hostage and they can take over the planes and fly them into buildings, we are not so big that a handful of men could not bring us to our knees and the day we forget that is the day we set into affect the next 9/11. If you noticed they don’t talk much anymore about connecting dots and do you know why? Because they know that those of us that they are supposed to be protecting know there are dots they have no intention of connecting and as long as the next plane does not come near them they could care less as long as they get what they want. Now I am going to ask you again to call 1-866-340-9281 it will not cost you a thing, but it may cost the life of one or more of our military if you don’t call and make it clear that the funding is to go through with NO strings attached. If you will not do it for yourself then do it for your kids and grand kids and for once stand up and be counted.
