They don’t even have to use planes this time, yet we are under constant attack daily and no one seems to notice. Call it what you want, blame it on the big oil barons, the gas companies whom ever you like but the fact of the matter is if you look at who is really behind the fuel crises you will understand perhaps for the first time how we are being attacked and why. Our oil comes from over seas, from people who at the very least don’t like us, at the worst would see us destroyed and the bane of our existence is controlled by them. You see they know they could never defeat us in an all out war, our military despite what the democrats say is still the best trained, most powerful force in the world so they had to find another way to bring us down and from the looks of things they just might have found it.

With the average American having trouble being able to buy fuel for their vehicles or for heating and cooking we are in a weakened state, so much so that a lot of people who never even heard of sub prime mortgages are falling behind on their payments because they are at the point of do I pay this bill or buy gas and groceries and God forbid they have any type of emergency because they just might lose it all. Some have come to the point they are having to pawn everything just to get by and that is just the tip of the iceberg, it took only 19 men with box cutters to bring us to our knees on 9/11, 15 of them were Saudi’s, the people who are now telling us that we just need to get used to these prices.

What better way to terrorize a country than to limit their ability to be mobile, if there were an attack in most cities right now a majority would not be able to leave simply because they would not have the gas. If we were to use the strategic reserves and be attacked not only would we not have the fuel to drive our cars our military would not have the fuel to respond. Is it a coincidence that Saudi and Venezuela are suddenly deciding that oil has yet to reach its peak price? I don’t think so I think this is a systematic attack on the United States of America and I think that our democrat leaders are either ignorant or complicit either way they are standing in the way of our only chance to stop this attack in its tracks.

We have a choice here, we can either sit at home and worry, sell everything that isn’t nailed down just to get by, let the banks have our homes or as the old blonde joke says sell our cars to pay for the gas or we as American citizens can rise up and say enough. Already 1,300,000 people have called to demand that we drill in America, which is a lot of American citizens that the democrats have chosen to ignore again. These people know that unless we start drilling in America, we simply will never be able to stop these attacks. This has gone beyond a few more people are driving, supply and demand, Hugo Chavez has out right threatened countries who implement immigration control, this is an economic attack and we as citizens must demand that our country be protected. President Bush has signed an executive order that off shore drilling be allowed but once again we must make senate and congress understand that it is we the people who are in charge.

Our attackers are at the front of the plane, they have already disabled our flight crew, they have destroyed the tracking devise, they are making us move to the back of the plane, what will we do now? Do we just accept our fate and allow the plane to go down? Or do we summon our last ounce of energy, our last bit of courage and fight back, I know my answer, let’s roll.

carolyn is a bit melodramatic in her assessment and she seems to overlook the greed of many Americans who control big oil companies, but she does raise several interesting points that we should take to heart.
