Alex Wierbinski

I'm a fifth-generation San Franciscan born in 1958 and raised in the Bay Area.
The timing of my birth means that I have had the misfortune to witness the Bay Area's transformation from a beautiful place to live into a mega-city that is, sadly, almost indistinguishable from Los Angeles.

Rather than being different from LA, the Bay Area is now a mirror of what LA was like 10 years ago. When the Bay Area looks at LA today, it can see its own future.

According to my reading of the Constitution, the only legitimate role of our government is to regulate the public interactions and transactions between free citizens to assure that our mutual rights are preserved. As I respect the Constitution's grant of power to regulate commerce, It appears that I am not an economic libertarian.

If our religions, morals, or interests differ, both sides must refer to their mutual Constitutional right to individual religious freedom, rather than fighting each other to use law and bribery to impose the winner's beliefs and interests on the rest of us.

Today's political winners, funded by massive corporate bribes, have used our government to impose their belief that our borders do not exist and that citizenship is composed of nothing more than physical presence and servile employment.

My life's work is to end the corporate bribery that has displaced our democratic process. Once that is achieved, we can easily change the qualification for citizenship from being an illegal servile economic slave, to belief in the core principals and practices of our democratic republic.
